Heaping praise on his son and former Bihar Deputy CM, RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, on Saturday, said that Tejashwi Yadav works tirelessly, and he should be given full responsibility.

Speaking to the media, Lalu, on RJD Foundation Day, expressed gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the party ahead of the upcoming elections.

"I thank and express gratitude to everyone. We will not let our party weaken. Tejashwi Yadav works tirelessly, day and night, uniting people and going everywhere. With the elections approaching, we must give Tejashwi full responsibility with strength," Yadav said.

Lalu Yadav also acknowledged the role of his wife, Rabri Devi, in managing both the party and family responsibilities.

"People have shown belief in us, and we will not let you down... I thank Rabri Devi for taking care of me, our family and also the party. Rabri Devi constantly looks after the party day and night, taking care of her health as well," he said.

On candidate selection for the upcoming elections, Yadav stated, "A survey will be conducted to decide the candidates. The MLA candidates will be chosen from among you, and we will discuss this. We will not let the flag of your trust fall."

Expressing gratitude to supporters from across the country, he concluded with a rallying call: "People have come from across the country, thanks to all of them. RJD Zindabad!"

The RJD chief's remarks come as the party gears up for a crucial electoral battle, with a focus on unity and strengthening its organizational base. (ANI)
