Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said on Saturday that he discussed the Bodhghat and river interlinking projects with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to New Delhi.

Explaining the benefits of the two major infrastructure initiatives, CM Sai said the projects will not only boost irrigation in the state but also contribute to electricity generation and fish production.

"I met PM Modi and told him about the Chhattisgarh changing landscapes. We discussed two things with him (PM Narendra Modi) -- the Bodhghat project, and the river interlink project.
