Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday launched the "Mukhya Sevak Samvad" scheme, aimed at communicating with the beneficiaries of government schemes to assess the status of their ground implementation.

The objective of this initiative is to directly engage with the beneficiaries of government schemes to understand their experiences and assess the actual status of the ground-level implementation of these schemes.

The 'Gaon Se Global Tak: Home Stay Samvad' program was also organized on Monday, with home stay operators from remote villages of the state participating. They shared their experiences, challenges, and suggestions directly with the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Dhami engaged in discussions with the home stay operators and assured them that their suggestions would form the foundation of future policy development.

The home stay operators present at the event praised this visionary scheme of the government.

They mentioned that the home stay scheme has not only created employment opportunities, especially in mountainous and border areas, but has also shown local communities the way to lead a dignified life. This scheme has now become a cornerstone of social and economic change in rural areas of Uttarakhand. The operators attributed this change to the Chief Minister's strong policies, activism, and dedication toward rural development.

Earlier in the day, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended warm wishes to civil service officers discharging their duties in the state and providing public services, on the occasion of Civil Services Day.

The Chief Minister stated that the dream of a 'developed' India and a 'developed' Uttarakhand is becoming a reality with the active participation and committed efforts of the civil service officers.

Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand Animal Husbandry Department has entered into a direct contract with local livestock farmers through the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). In the first five months, 253 farmers from four border districts have generated business worth Rs 2.6 crore with the ITBP. (ANI)
