Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Sunday accused RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav of giving reservations to his family and stated that he has no moral right to talk about reservation.

"He (Tejashwi Yadav) should first free us from the reservation he has given to his family. He has no moral right to say anything on reservation... He is giving reservations only to his family... What will those who are not able to get out of their family talk about reservation?" Singh told reporters here.

His remarks came after Tejashwi Yadav held a protest earlier in the day against the Bihar government, demanding 65 per cent reservation in educational and public employment.

In a post on social media on Saturday, Yadav said, "By stopping the 65% reservation limit increased by our government in Bihar, candidates from scheduled caste/tribe, backward-most backward classes are facing a direct loss of 16% reservation, due to which more than 50,000youth from these classes have lost their jobs. TRE-3 Thousands of candidates from these classes lost their jobs due to non-implementation of reservation even in the third phase of teacher recruitment".

Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav met protesting BPSC TRE 3.0 aspirants in Patna earlier on Sunday.

After meeting Tejashwi Yadav, an aspirant, Ajay Mishra told ANI, "We have a lot of expectations from him. He will surely fulfil our demands. If the ruling side is not listening to us, we will have to go to the opposition. We are keeping our demands in a constitutional way. We have been protesting in Gardanibagh for the last 50 days, but the government is not listening to us at all. Tejashwi Yadav has assured us that he will raise our demand in the Assembly and try as much as possible that our demands be fulfilled"

The Bihar assembly elections are likely to be conducted in October-November this year, however the Election Commission of India has not confirmed the dates as of yet. (ANI)
