"Iconic moment": Rajasthan Dy CM Diya Kumari on 50 years of Raj Mandir Cinema

As Rajasthan's Raj Mandir Cinema is set to complete its 50 years of release, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari on Sunday said it is a matter of great pride

Raj Mandir Cinema is a movie theatre in Jaipur in Rajasthan.

Speaking to media persons at the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), Diya Kumari said, "It is a matter of great pleasure and pride. Today, Raj Mandir Cinema is completing 50 years...my greetings...this moment is iconic for all of us...whoever visits Jaipur, they come to Raj Mandir Cinema as well, it is like a tourist spot..."

As part of the IIFA Awards 2025, a special screening of the Bollywood film Sholay was held at the Raj Mandir Cinema.

Several Bollywood personalities, along with the cast of the film, attended the event.

Released on August 15, 1975, Ramesh Sippy's Sholay has completed 50 years. To mark this milestone, IIFA organized a special screening of the film at Jaipur's Raj Mandir.

Legendary MMA fighter and combat sports trailblazer Anthony Pettis will also make a special appearance at the 25th edition of IIFA in the capital city of Rajasthan (ANI)
