"INDI alliance not going to be anywhere in Bihar...": RLD's Upendra Kushwaha slams Tejashwi Yadav

Rashtriya Lok Morcha President, Upendra Kushwaha slammed Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav, after the latter posted a video, in which a woman criticising Nitish Kumar and the condition in the state.

Slamming Tejashwi, Kushwaha alleged him of indulging in "absurd tactics", and exuded confidence that the NDA will succesfully retain power in Bihar.

"The leaders of RJD know that none of their tricks will work this time. They adopt absurd tactics but no matter what tactics they adopt, the public will form the NDA government this time," the RLM president told ANI.

The RML leader reacted to a video posted by Tejashwi Yadav on X, in which a woman was criticising the state of Bihar and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on the occasion of International Women's Day. In the video, one women was voicing her opinion of changing the ruling party in the state government, citing various reasons such as difficulty in maintaining a house, increased inflation.

When asked about what she expects a new party in power in do, (referencing RJD), the woman expressed hope for a welfare scheme to provide Rs 2,500, and reduce prices for goods.

"Nitish Kumar is working hard, not just in Patna, but he has been among the people, as he did a yatra recently and met with people of different zillas. The various schemes which were announced too, implementation is happening, and money is being given," Kushwaha said.

"INDI alliance is not going to be anywhere in Bihar, here NDA will win with a strong majority, and form the government," he added.

Kushwaha attended the 'Holi Milan' program organised by Bharatiya Janata Party Ravi Shankar Prasad.

"Holi is a festival of joy and happiness. I have come to attend the 'Holi Milan' program organised by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad...I urge everyone to celebrate the festival of Holi with peace and harmony," he said.

The Bihar assembly elections are likely to be conducted in October-November, the Election Commission of India has not confirmed the dates as of yet. (ANI)
