Union Minister for Women and Child Development Annapurna Devi on Saturday congratulated the people of Delhi on the BJP's "historic win." She said the result was a reflection of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guarantees.

Speaking to ANI, the minister said, "Best wishes and congratulations to the people of Delhi for this victory...This victory is the guarantee of PM Modi's guarantee...This is a historic win..."

Additionally, she stated, "The BJP leadership's decisive victory reflects the public's confidence in Modi's guarantee, emphasizing that his assurances translate into fulfilled commitments. The party has pledged to address key concerns in the national capital, including the cleaning of the Yamuna River and improving living conditions for slum dwellers."

Similarly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded BJP's victory and said it was a triumph of "good governance" of the party at the Centre and in states it is in power. He said the party will leave no stone unturned in developing Delhi and improving the overall quality of life for the people.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the party's senior leadership and workers at the BJP's national headquarters here this evening.

He hailed the people of Delhi for putting an end to the "lies and deception" politics of Aam Aadmi Party by giving a clear mandate to Bharatiya Janata Party in Assembly elections. He said that people have put an end to "short-cut" politics of Kejriwal and removed a "major obstacle" in the way of Delhi's development.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Virendra Sachdeva, MP Manoj Tiwari, Bansuri Swaraj, and other BJP leaders celebrated the historic win at the party headquarters in the national capital.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is set to form the next government in the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT-Delhi) after 27 years, having crossed the majority mark of 36 seats in the 70-member assembly by winning 48 seats. The last time the BJP government was in Delhi was between 1993-1998. (ANI)
