Paying his tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his 77th death anniversary, Lok Sabha LOP and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said that he was not just a person rather he is the soul of India, and is alive in every Indian.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 77th death anniversary, stating that his ideas of Satya, Ahimsa, Sarvodaya and Sarvadharma Sambhava continue to light our path. India observes Martyrs'' Day every year on January 30 to mark the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and to honour his contribution towards the freedom of the country.
