RJD leader Sanjay Yadav on Saturday lashed out at Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, accusing him of owing his political success to the RJD and its leadership.

Yadav's comments come in the wake of Choudhary's recent criticisms of the party, as he called into question Choudhary's stance on key political issues, including his relationship with the BJP and his views on the legacy of former Bihar CM Karpuri Thakur.

Yadav stated, "Samrat Choudhary is a 'product' of RJD. He is a student of the Lalu Yadav School of Politics. He won two elections in his life and both on RJD's symbol... the people who talk about Jungle Raj and corruption, first of all, they ignore the important issues of public interest." Yadav added that the individuals who criticize the RJD on such issues were once part of the government during its 15-year rule.

He further questioned the current leadership of Nitish Kumar and the BJP, challenging Chaudhary's views on Karpuri Thakur, a former Bihar Chief Minister. "If you look at the cabinet of Nitish Kumar ji, how many ministers were there who were ministers in that time? Or were not supporters of that coalition?" he asked. Yadav also pointed out the contradictions in Chaudhary's statements regarding Karpuri Thakur's legacy, accusing the BJP of once abusing him when he contested the 1978 elections.

Yadav also raised concerns about Chaudhary's connection to the National People's Party (NPP), which was formed during RJD's tenure. He remarked, "Isn't it true that Tejasvi Yadav, the leader of the party, made a proposal to the Sarabh Sammati twice in the Vidhan Sabha?"

Yadav further claimed that Samrat Choudhary was merely seeking relevance in BJP and attempting to remain politically visible by making provocative statements. "Samrat Choudhary is just wasting his time. He keeps saying something to find some relevance, so that they can maintain their presence in the BJP," Yadav said.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Friday spoke on the firing incident involving the former MLA Anant Singh and said that action would be taken against the guilty.

Speaking about the incident, Choudhary said while speaking to the media, "Action is underway. Whoever is found guilty, action will be taken against them.." (ANI)
