After the AAP's poster labelled Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders as "dishonest", Congress candidate Sandeep Dikshit said that it shows the "meanness" of Arvind Kejriwal.

Speaking to ANI, Dikshit mentioned that he has just sent an official complaint to the Election Commission against Kejriwal.

"It shows the meanness of Arvind Kejriwal. He put up allegations 10 years back but has yet to produce any evidence of that because he lied. I have not seen any such politician who stoops this low... I have just sent an official complaint to the ECI and also filed a criminal complaint against Arvind Kejriwal. I have talked to my lawyer and in the coming 2-3 days, we will be filing a criminal defamation case against Arvind Kejriwal and AAP," the Congress candidate said.

Reacting to the poster, Congress' Telangana MP Kiran Kumar Chamala said that Arvind Kejriwal's "honesty" is evident in every liquor shop in Delhi.

"Kejriwal's honesty is evident in every liquor shop in Delhi. Every wall of Tihar jail knows about the collusion between our former Chief Minister's daughter K Kavitha and Arvind Kejriwal... To date, Rahul Gandhi has never visited Tihar and has never protected his ministers who were found to be corrupt," he said.

The poster released by AAP on its social media handle further intensifies the tensions between the two parties that remain part of the INDIA bloc at the national level.

The poster labels Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Sandeep Dikshit and Ajay Maken as "dishonest" along with other Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders including Yogi Adityanath, Anurag Thakur, Virendraa Sachdeva, Parvesh Verma, and Ramesh Bidhuri while referring to AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal as being "honest".

"Kejriwal's honesty will prevail over all the dishonest people," the poster read. (ANI)
