Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole on Friday said that not a single video had come which could prove that Rahul Gandhi had pushed BJP MPs and further said that BJP was creating a false story to hide Amit Shah's truth.

Speaking to the media Patole said "Not a single video has come out related to Rahul Gandhi pushing anyone.. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is creating a false story to hide the truth that came out of Amit Shah's mouth in the Rajya Sabha. The whole country is watching what this government is doing to save Adani... The people of the country will destroy this tyrannical and arrogant government.."

Meanwhile Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Jagdambika Pal questioned whether there was a place for violence in democracy.

"The way yesterday Congress MPs committed hooliganism and violence at the parliament gate, the way the leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi pushed our two MPs, Pratap Sarangi and Muskesh Rajput, is there a place for violence in democracy? Rahul Gandhi should be ashamed...." Pal said speaking to ANI.

Further, Pal said that Congress had insulted Babasaheb Ambedkar for 60 years.

"His party insulted Babasaheb since last 60 years. He was obligated to resign from the Nehru cabinet because Nehru was ignoring the Dalits. The party opposed him in the elections and never gave him Bharat Ratna. Today democracy has been attacked and the Adivasi daughter was insulted. Apology should be sought and if he has morality, he should resign...."Pal further added.

BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi said that the incident should not have occurred in the Parliament and said that it was important to hold the decorum and dignity in the Parliament.

"Something which happened in the Parliament yesterday should not have happened, we strongly condemn it. There are two issues which I would like to highlight... The first is that two very senior MPs have been hospitalised and they are still under doctors' observation. This is extremely unfortunate. We are all supposed to hold the decorum and dignity of Parliament..." Sarangi said speaking to ANI.

This comes after the Parliament witnessed unprecedented scenes with the opposition and BJP-led NDA members holding parallel protest that led to a face-off. Senior congress leader Malikarjun Kharge alleged he was pushed while two BJP members were injured. (ANI)
