Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday extended birthday greetings to Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and wished for his "long and healthy life."
PM Modi also appreciated the efforts he has made towards the development and empowerment of Nagaland. He is at the forefront of numerous efforts to further develop Nagaland and empower the people. Neiphiu Rio, is the founder of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), a major regional party in the political domain of Nagaland. He is currently serving as the Chief Minister of Nagaland. He has served as Chief Minister of Nagaland for three terms from 2003-08, 2008-13 and 2013-14, making him the only Nagaland Chief Minister to have served three consecutive terms. (ANI)
