Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy held a meeting on Friday, announcing the decision to establish a Trust Board for the Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam, modelled after the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Governing Council.

The Chief Minister reviewed ongoing temple development activities, made several suggestions, and directed officials to take necessary steps.

According to the Telangana CMO, the Chief Minister instructed that the Yadagirigutta Temple Board should be elevated to a status comparable to the Tirumala Board after a thorough study. He also directed the introduction of a special policy for cow protection in the Goshala and urged the adoption of technological innovations for enhanced cow welfare.

He further instructed officials to arrange facilities for devotees to stay on the hill and pay their respects, and to expedite the gold plating of the Vimana Gopuram, ensuring its completion before the Brahmotsavam festival.

The Chief Minister also urged officials to allocate the necessary funds for the temple and to complete any pending land acquisition required for its development.

Officials were instructed to compile comprehensive details and proposals within a week. Additionally, they were asked to submit a detailed report on pending tasks and other related issues. The Chief Minister further ordered the official renaming of Yadadri to Yadagirigutta in all records and ensured this name is consistently used in practice.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy's 55th birthday on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended warm greetings to him.

In a post on X, PM Modi wrote, "Best wishes to Telangana CM Shri Revanth Reddy Ji on his birthday. I pray for his long and healthy life."

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed his gratitude to PM Modi for the wishes. In a post on X, he said, "Dhanyavad Pradhan Mantri Shri Narendra Modi Ji for your kind and warm wishes." (ANI)
