Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai condoles demise of former Rajya Sabha MP Gopal Vyas

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday expressed his condolences on the demise of former Rajya Sabha MP Gopal Vyas.

Gopal Vyas passed away on Thursday morning. He was 90 years old.

In a condolence message on X, CM Sai said, "The demise of a senior member of our BJP family, sharp thinker, social worker and former Rajya Sabha MP Shri Gopal Vyas ji is a big loss for all of us."

"His simplicity and dedicated life for the society will always be an inspiration for all of us," read the post.

CM said also paid floral tributes to the mortal remains of the former Rajya Sabha PM.

CM also recalled the days spent with the deceased BJP leader. "Recently, I along with the BJP national president had met him at his residence. At the age of 90, he had the same determination and energy which we had seen when we worked together."

He was associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), CM Sai said.

As per the wish of Gopal Vyas, his body has been today donated to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), he said.

"His entire life was like a message. We can keep his memory intact only by taking inspiration from his life and following his path," CM Sai said. (ANI)
