Sources from the Rajya Sabha told ANI that the 10th G20 Parliamentary Speakers' Summit (P20) will be held in Brasilia, Brazil. During this summit, G20 parliamentarians will engage in discussions on several important topics, including 1. the contribution of parliaments to the fight against hunger, poverty, and inequality. 2. Currently, India is looked upon as one of the most active partners of the G20 group of nations. Parliament 20 (P20) Engagement Group, started during Canada's Presidency in 2010, is led by Speakers from the Parliaments of G20 countries. The P20 group is led by the presidents of the G20 countries' parliaments. The Group aims to engage parliaments to strengthen global collaboration and ensure the practical implementation of international agreements in the Group of 20 member countries. The ninth P20 Summit was held in New Delhi, India from October 13-14, 2023. The summit's theme was "Parliaments for One Earth, One Family, One Future" and was inspired by the ancient Indian philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, which means "The World is one Family". The summit included four high-level sessions on topics such as accelerating SDGs, sustainable energy transition, and women-led development. (ANI)
