Iqra Farooq, the second topper of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) 2023 Combined Competitive Examination, expressed her desire to be in a position to support the people.

A resident of Srinagar and horticulture graduate, Iqra said, "I kept my complete focus on KAS after 2021."

"I secured the second rank in my second attempt. The exam is challenging; you have to be mentally strong and need the financial support of your parents. I am very grateful to my parents," she said while speaking to ANI.

She said, "I always wanted to be in a position where I can help people. Civil Services was always on my mind."

Iqra credited her success to three factors: "my parents, my hard work, and the support of God."
