Police, security forces recover ammunition during search op in J-K's Bandipora

Police in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora along with security forces have recovered ammunition, grenade and other incriminating materials, a release said on Wednesday.

The ammunition was seized during a cordon and search operation.

Based on specific inputs, a search operation was launched by Bandipora police, Army 13 RR and CRPF 3rd BN in SK Bala Ajas Sumbal in the residential of the house one person namey Ishfaq Majeed Dar son of Abdul Majeed Dar resident of SK Bala Ajas Sumbal.

During CASO, 1 hand grenade (rusted),5 AK 47 rounds and 5 posters of proscribed terrorist outfit LeT were recovered from the back side of the said residential house, read the release.

Further investigation going on, it added. (ANI)
