The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Ajit Pawar faction, announced the first list of 38 candidates for the upcoming assembly election.
The list includes six new faces and 32 incumbent MLAs. The new candidates have been introduced in Arjuni Morgaon, Igatpuri, Amravati City, Navapur, Pathri, and Mumbra-Kalwa constituencies. Among the 32 sitting MLAs, nine ministers have been included. The list also includes the Assembly Deputy Speaker and four women candidates. Deputy chief minister and NCP president Ajit Pawar will be contesting from the Baramati assembly constituency.
