Ahead of the 5th edition of Regional Industry Conclave which is scheduled to be held in Rewa, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that the Madhya Pradesh government is continuously working for the youth and to take the state forward.

CM Yadav also emphasised that they set a target to create over 1 lakh employment opportunities in various departments of the government till the end of this year.

The Chief Minister made the remark while speaking to ANI in the state capital Bhopal before leaving to participate in the 5th edition of the Regional Industry Conclave to be held in Rewa today.

"The government is continuously working for the youth, especially to take Madhya Pradesh forward. I am satisfied that we have set a target till December this year for creating over 1 lakh job opportunities in various departments of the government and we are starting the work for the same. On the occasion of Diwali, there will be a great opportunity for the youth, especially those who need work," CM Yadav told ANI.

"We are continuously working under the leadership of the Prime Minister to provide youths with an opportunity to work for the country and the state. I am also satisfied with the campaign for industrial investment that is going on. Our conclaves have been held so far, meetings have been held with different investors at the divisional level in Ujjain, Jabalpur, Gwalior, and Sagar. Today it is going to be held in Rewa. So far, more than 3.25 lakh employment opportunities have been created in these, in which we have received investment proposals of more than Rs 2,45,000 crores," the CM said.

CM Yadav further highlighted that there is a lot of potential in Madhya Pradesh and many people are getting interested in it.

"We are also putting efforts as to why Madhya Pradesh would lag behind when the country is committed to become the third largest economy in the world under the leadership of PM Modi. Madhya Pradesh has all the resources for which investors or industrialists are ready to invest here. Though we have set a priority for local businessmen who are already working in the state and then an outsider will be given an opportunity. It is our resolve to make the state prosperous and the public also wants the same. The Bharatiya Janata Party government is committed to development," he concluded.

Notably, the Regional Industry Conclaves are being held in the state as a pre-event of the "Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025".

GIS-2025 is proposed to be organised in Bhopal on February 7 and 8 next year. The main objective of the GIS-2025 Summit is to establish Madhya Pradesh as a favourable investment destination and to include it among the leading states of the country by highlighting the capabilities, abundant resources and favourable industrial environment of the state.

The first edition of Regional Industry Conclave was organised in Ujjain on March 1 and 2 this year. Later, the second edition was held in Jabalpur on July 20 and then third edition in Gwalior on August 28 and fourth edition in Sagar last month on September 27.

Besides, Interactive Session on Investment Opportunities in MP events has been held simultaneously outside the state as part of the pre-event of 'Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025'. (ANI)
