Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday launched the 'Three-pillar and Nine-point Strategy Program' to balance the economy and ecology in the state.
To balance ecology and economy in the state, under the guidance of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Planning Department has formulated a strategy on three pillars - Community Empowerment Campaign, Innovation and Technology Campaign and Financial Autonomy and Literacy Campaign, stated an official release. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that we all have to make our special contribution to fulfill the resolve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a developed India. Along with development, the state government is paying special attention to environmental balance. The Chief Minister briefed all departments to work on the 'Three-pillar and Nine-point Strategy Program' which has been launched today. All the departments have to take a resolution on the holy festival of Navratri and move forward in the direction of working by balancing the economy and ecology in the state. A three-point strategy has been formulated for each pillar to balance the economy and ecology of the state. The three pillars under the first pillar community empowerment campaign are recycling of traditional practices, behaviour change for appropriate consumption and skill upgradation of youth. The three pillars under the second pillar innovation and technology campaign are promotion of green technology, technology based quick solutions and adoption of circular economy. The three pillars under the third pillar financial autonomy and literacy campaign are standardisation of green practices, participation for carbon credits and strategy for bridge funding for sustainable projects.
