In a significant move for digitalising the property registration process in the state, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will launch 'Sampada-2.0' software here on Thursday.

After the successful implementation of the pilot project in four districts, Guna, Harda, Dindori and Ratlam, now the software will be implemented in all the 55 districts in the state, an official release said.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will launch 'Sampada-2.0' software at Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Center (Minto Hall) in the capital city here.

According to the official release, Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda will preside over the programme.

He said that with the successful implementation of the pilot project and issuance of notification, Madhya Pradesh has now established itself as a leading state in the country in the field of registration and e-stamping of documents.

"E-registration and e-stamping were successfully conducted under the pilot project in 4 districts which include Guna, Harda, Dindori, and Ratlam in April 2024. According to the instructions of the Chief Minister, the process of implementing the software for e-registration and e-stamping of documents has been completed in all the districts of the state in a phased manner," Devda said.

"The registration of documents like transfer of property, loan, etc. will be done digitally through the software. If a loan has been taken against a property, its information can also be seen in it. Also, the property will be identified with the custodian department. Identification of registrants will be completed through e-KYC. The facility of registration and e-stamping from home will also be available," he added.

Under the new rules, the buyer and seller will be identified by Aadhaar and PAN card. Identification will be done through e-KYC in Sampada 2.0 software. There will also be a video KYC facility. Apart from this, many new features like GIS mapping of property, biometric identification and automatic formatting of documents are also included, stated the release.

Through "Sampada 2.0" documents can be prepared with digital signatures. As a result there will be no need to go to the registry office to get the registry done. The registration officer can also be reached out through video call. E-copy of the documents will also be available on Digi Locker, WhatsApp and email, it added. (ANI)
