Mumbai: Fire breaks out in godown in Kurla West, no injuries reported

A fire broke out in a godown in Punjabi Chawl located in Kurla West, Mumbai on Wednesday evening.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that no injuries were reported in the incident.

According to BMC's Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), the fire broke out at 5.45 pm in a godown located at Durga Road, Samta Nagar, Panjabi Chawl, Kurla West.

BMC officials said that the fire was of level L-II.

MFB, Police, ambulance and ward staff were mobilised to douse the raging fire.
