Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan on Wednesday gave credit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the emphatic victory in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and said that the victory of Haryana is the victory of farmers, youth, soldiers and the Constitution.
Speaking to ANI in an exclusive interview, Union Minister Chirag Paswan says, "The results have answered all the questions being raised by the opposition...I congratulate PM Modi that even in adverse circumstances, the BJP has succeeded in forming the government in Haryana. The victory of Haryana is the victory of farmers, youth, soldiers and the Constitution. The election results have given a befitting reply to those who questioned the BJP's view on reservation and the Constitution...." "I feel that the results of Haryana have come as answers to the questions of the opposition parties... the opposition has been continuously raising questions on the NDA on different subjects so especially, I congratulate the leadership of respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and his working style, because of him today in such an adverse situation, no one would have guessed that the results of Haryana would be in favour of BJP but people of Haryana has given results in favour of BJP" he added. Chirag Paswan further told ANI, "I congratulate the leadership of the Prime Minister, I congratulate the policies of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the organizational ability of JP Nadda. I believe that the victory of Haryana is the victory of the farmers, the victory of the youth and the victory of the soldiers and the biggest thing is that the Victory of the Constitution." "This result has given a befitting reply to all those who were repeatedly spreading confusion about reservation, about the Constitution and the Scheduled Castes. The biggest thing is that it is a victory for the democracy of the country" he added On Congress blaming the EVMs for their defeat in the Haryana assembly elections, Chirag Paswan said, "Congress's ally National Conference should also make such allegations on EVMs. Elections are held in two states at a time. When the results come in Congress's favour, everything is fine, but when the results do not come in their favour, they say that this is the victory of the system, but a defeat of democracy. This thinking is very wrong. Until the Congress accepts defeat and does introspection, such electoral defeats will continue." (ANI)
