Amid the suspense on the Chief Minister candidate of the Congress in Haryana ahead of the poll results, MP Kumari Selja, who is a front runner for the post, said that the decision will be made by the 'high command'.

The exit poll projections show that Congress is likely to form government in Haryana, which has raised speculations about the Congress' CM candidate. Kumari Selja, in an interview to ANI, said that she has enough experience to be considered as the front-runner for the top post.

"I cannot say anything, neither can anyone else. This will be known after the announcement of High Command. Everyone will accept the decision of High Command. I have already spoken in public domain. High command knows about this. High command will make the decision," Kumari Selja said on Monday.

Kumari Selja further asserted that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' has changed the perception of the people about him and his party. She also commented on Bhartiya Janata Party, saying "People are disillusioned from BJP rule and want to throw them out."

"The whole thing changed when Rahul Gandhi took Yatra. People's perceptions about Rahul Gandhi, perception about Congress and perception about BJP has changed. That's why you saw how in Lok Sabha BJP seats came down. Today Rahul ji is the accepted leader for those who don't have a voice, for those issues which are not raises or allowed to be raised. Every section trusts Rahul Gandhi, Whole environment is created in country and Haryana. Congress is there for Haryanvi people to form the government." Selja said.

Based on the exit poll predictions which show Congress winning more than 50 seats, Kumri Selja asserted that the party will more than 60 seats out of the 90 seats.
