Delhi police sought five days custody remand to investigate the case.

While seeking five days remand, the Police said that Rajnish is a passenger of the same vehicle used in the commission of offence of killing the constable.

The person who was driving the vehicle is absconding. There are inputs that the accused persons had visited their friend in Ponta Sahib in Himachal Pradesh.

The police said that we are searching for the driver and owner of the car.

Defence counsel Aashutosh Bhardwaj opposed the custody remand application. He said the accused was not driving the vehicle. There is no criminal intention on his part. Five days custodial remand is not justified.
