Several parts of Bihar are grappling with severe flooding due to heavy discharge of water from the Kosi Barrage in Birpur, following heavy rainfall.
Incessant rainfall in the catchment areas of Nepal has led to rivers touching or flowing above the danger level at several places in the bordering districts. Power will be cut off after the instructions of the department officials..." "Administration is not active, no one has come to see the situation yet," a resident of Muzaffarpur said.
