"Humbled and honoured": PM Modi thanks people for wishing him on 74th birthday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday thanked people for overwhelming birthday wishes and said that he felt "humbled and honoured" for the love he received from various sections of society.

"Humbled and honoured to receive so much warmth from people. I thank each and every person who has conveyed birthday greetings to me. This affection gives me immense strength to keep working harder for the people. This is also the time our third term completes 100 days. I am glad that the last 100 days have been marked by a series of pro-people and development oriented decisions, which will add strength in our pursuit of building a Viksit Bharat. Several people have taken part in social service efforts today. I salute their spirit and convey my appreciation for these efforts," PM Modi posted on X.

Thanking President Droupadi Murmu for warm wishes and inspiring guidance, PM Modi said that the government will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling our responsibility towards the country and countrymen.

"Honourable @rashtrapatibhvn ji, I am very grateful for your good wishes! Your inspiring guidance is very encouraging in realizing the resolve of a self-reliant and developed India. We will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling our responsibility towards the country and countrymen," PM Modi posted on X.

President Droupadi Murmu greeted PM Modi on his 74th birthday and wished that his innovative efforts pave the way to make India a developed nation.

"Hearty congratulations and best wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji on his birthday. On the strength of your personality and work, you have provided extraordinary leadership and increased the prosperity and prestige of the country," the president said in a post on X in Hindi.

"I wish that your innovative efforts with the spirit of nation first pave the way to make India a developed nation. I pray to God that you live long and always remain healthy and happy," she wrote.

PM Modi also thanked Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar for extending birthday greetings and said that he cherishes the Vice President's guidance and insights on various issues.

"I am grateful for your wishes, VP Jagdeep Dhankhar Ji. I also cherish your guidance and insights on various issues," he posted on X.

"Heartfelt wishes to Narendra Modi ji on his birthday! In governance for over two decades, and as Prime Minister over a decade in historic third continual term, he has aroused the soul of Bharat, stimulated its cultural values, nurtured its civilisational ethos and firmly set it on the unprecedented developmental trajectory towards #ViksitBharat by 2047. As Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated his 74th birthday, several political leaders, including BJP leaders and LoP Rahul Gandhi and Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, also extended their heartfelt wishes.

He was born on September 17, 1950, in Gujarat.

PM Modi led the BJP-led NDA to a third successive victory in the Lok Sabha polls 2024.

PM Modi is known to have a powerful 'personal connect' with the people on the ground and is also known as India's most techno-savvy leader, using the web to reach people and bring about change in their lives. (ANI)
