The National Investigation Agency (NIA) carried out search operations at various places on Tuesday in connection with the murder case of BJP booth president Vijay Krishna Bhuiyan.
The NIA reached Moyna around 2 am and carried out searches at various places in Goramahal and adjacent areas of Moyna, Purba Medinipur. Bhuiyan was kidnapped and murdered in May 2023. His family members filed a written complaint at Moynapolice station and then approached the Kolkata High Court demanding an NIA probe. In May this year, a National Investigation Agency (NIA) team visited Moyna, Purba Medinipur, to investigate the murder case of BJP booth president Vijay Krishna Bhuiyan. (ANI)
