Following the AAP's allegations regarding party leader Ram Chandra's "kidnapping," BJP MP Manoj Tiwari on Sunday said that it has become the habit of the Aam Aadmi Party to make such allegations and run away.

The BJP MP also assured that if the allegation is correct, and if someone is found guilty, then definitely action will be taken against him.

"It does not seem possible, but if it is, so they should file their complaint, we will get it investigated and if someone is found guilty, then definitely action will be taken against him. It has become a habit of the Aam Aadmi Party that they make allegations and run away," Tiwari told ANI.

"People of the Aam Aadmi Party have fallen in the eyes of the people of Delhi at this time, in such a situation they are upset and that is why they want to create all kinds of sensation," he added.

Earlier, BJP Delhi President Virendraa Sachdeva termed the AAP's allegation a "circus" and demanded the Delhi Police interrogate AAP Councillor Ram Chandra.

"He (Ram Chandra) has said that some people came, but he does not know the names. They took him to which office, it is not known. And he does not know who dropped him back. He is also saying that he called 100 number, police arrived and got him released. Where did the police go to release him? AAP leaders have been running a circus since the morning... Delhi has a strong network of CCTVs. I demand to the Delhi Police that Ram Chandra should be interrogated on whose direction he is fabricating this story. There should be legal action against him," Sachdeva told ANI.

Earlier today, the Aam Aadmi Party accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of kidnapping party Councillor Ram Chandra, who represents Bawana's Shahabad Dairy in the civic body, after which the BJP denied the charges and hit back at AAP for "fake sensationalism."

Ram Chandra is one of the councillors who left AAP and joined the BJP and, four days later, traced his steps back and joined AAP.

The councillor, in a video message, alleged that he was forcibly picked up by several BJP men.

"I am a municipal councillor from Bawana Ward 28. In the morning, five or six people came to my house and took me to the BJP office in a car. There they threatened me with CBI and ED. They said something wrong will happen to you. After my son and the senior leader of the party dialled to police, then after which they dropped me at my place," Ramchandra said in a self-made video.

"I am not scared of CBI and ED. I am a true soldier of Arvind Kejriwal," he added.

In a post on X, senior party leader Manish Sisodia said, "BJP threatened councillor ji with ED CBI. When he did not get scared, BJP goons took him away in a car."

Earlier today, AAP leader Sanjay Singh shared a video of a councillor's son, Akash Ram Chandra, where he alleged that his father was forcibly abducted from his office by a local BJP leader and his aides.

"The leader came to meet my father this morning. They threatened my father with ED and CBI raids and then took him away in their car. I don't know where they have taken him; I'm going to look for him right now," he alleged.

Meanwhile, Delhi BJP's media in-charge, Praveen Shankar Kapoor, denied that his party had anything to do with this.

"You guys are the kings of fake sensationalism. Councillor Ram Chandra is not in your party. We have nothing to do with it, but it is certain that he is sitting in his house and you people are spreading rumours," read his post on X.

Ram Chander recently shifted his political allegiances, expressing deep regret over his decision to join the BJP. (ANI)
