Uttarakhand CM participates in Sri Kanguda Nagraj Temple Restoration Jagran ceremony

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami arrived at the Kanguda Nagraj temple complex in Tehri district on Friday and participated in the Sri Kanguda Nagraj Temple Restoration Jagran ceremony.

The Chief Minister circumambulated the temple and prayed at the Lord Kanguda Nagraj temple, took blessings and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the state.

During this, the Chief Minister also planted a sapling in the temple premises under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign.

Further, Dhami congratulated the Pran Pratishtha of Lord Kanguda Nagraj in the newly constructed temple and wished for the fulfilment of the wishes of all the people of the state.

He said "I have got the good fortune of coming to this revered land for the second time. The announcement made to develop Kanguda in tourism and religious form will be fulfilled soon. For this, the DPR of about 2 crores provided by the district administration will be approved soon."

Additionally, the Chief Minister said that the development of the area will be done by making a master plan.

A modern guest house in the temple premises, a drinking water storage tank of 30 thousand litres capacity, a tin shed in the access road to the temple premises, a high mask, etc. other works will be done.

The state government is committed to taking the religious and cultural development of Devbhoomi to new heights.

Several schemes are being run by the central and state governments in the public interest, like Ujjwala Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, and Lakhpati Didi are reaching the last person.

More than one lakh women have been made Lakhpati Didi in the state. The target is to make one and a half lakh sisters 'Lakhpati' by 2025.

The state government is working with an alternative-less resolution to make the state the best state in the country.

The double-engine government has provided financial approval for various schemes for the development of the Dhanolti area.

On this occasion, the people of the area submitted a demand letter related to the development of the area to the Chief Minister, to which the Chief Minister said that positive action would be taken after examining it.

The Chief Minister said that several proposals have been received including the demand for the Chham-Baldogi suspension bridge.

A report has been asked to be prepared for the Chham-Baldogi suspension bridge. (ANI)
