Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Saturday flagged off a Cyclothon organised by the Hindu Spiritual and Service Foundation to spread awareness about climate change, at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, addressing the public, highlighted the importance of protecting the environment as the threat of climate change looms.

"Firstly, I would like to thank the Hindu Adhyatmik Seva Foundation. They have given a message from the capital (Jaipur) for the environmental cause. It must be conveyed to everyone. As we can see climate change, we must protect the environment and also we need to take care of health and hence such programmes are organised," CM Sharma said.

He further appealed to the people to follow the PM's vision of 'ek ped maa ke naam' and urged everyone to look after the environment.

"I appeal to the people to look after the environment. The appeal made by the PM on June 5 of 'ek ped maa ke naam', I appeal to people to follow this," CM Sharma said.

Earlier on Thursday, a meeting of senior officials was held regarding the "RISING RAJASTHAN" Investment Summit to be held in Rajasthan from 9-11 December 2024.

After taking detailed information about the preparations for organizing the summit, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma gave guidelines.

This "RISING RAJASTHAN" investment summit will act as a better and easier path for investors in Rajasthan and will pave new paths for employment for the youth of the state. This summit will give new wings to the development of Rajasthan and Rajasthan will achieve new heights of progress," CM Sharma said on X. (ANI)
