Uttar Pradesh police have made extensive security and support measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the police recruitment examination scheduled to be held in Lucknow on Friday.
The examination will be conducted over five days from August 23 to 31 with hundreds of candidates participating from across the state. Speaking to ANI regarding the arrangements, Joint Commissioner (Law & Order) Amit Verma said, "Teams would be deployed at the exam centres. Not just security, arrangements have been made to facilitate the students." Government Railway Police (GRP) SP Prashant Verma said that a dedicated help desk has been set up to assist candidates with any issues they might encounter. "A lot of candidates will come from other districts. A help desk has been made so that the students don't face any problems and they can be informed about the facilities being provided by the administration," Prashant Verma said while speaking to ANI on Thursday. In addition, a comprehensive security presence has been set up, including deployments from the Rapid Action Force (RAF), police, civil defence, Government Railway Police (GRP), and Railway Protection Force (RPF).
