Amid the ongoing feud between Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis and NCP (SCP) leader Anil Deshmukh, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Monday attacked Devendra Fadanvis and demanded to reveal the Chandiwal Commission report to the public.

"We have seen what happened about the 'chakravyuh' in the Lok Sabha elections. Maharashtra doesn't take Fadanvis's statements seriously these days. The way Anil Deshmukh has exposed Devendra Fadanvis, now Fadanvis needs the help of a jailed criminal who is accused in a bomb blast and murder case. Persons who are accused of terror acts, using them to attack opposition are making this clear how much he is stuck in the chakravyuh'," Raut said, addressing a press conference.

The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader said that the Maharashtra government is making excuses to not reveal the Chandiwal Commission report public.

"Anil Deshmukh raised an issue on Saturday which is very important. Why are you not making the Chandiwal Commission report public? The commission heard the matter for 11 months and submitted a 1400-page report, there are explosive contents in the report. When the report was to come out, Devendra Fadanvis broke Shiv Sena MLAs and the government fell. Now the report is submitted and they should make this public. This very hollow excuse that this happened in their government, first you should make that 1400-page report public. Then we will see how your jailed spokesperson responds to that," he added.

Raut alleged that the Chandiwal Commission report has very explosive information and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister knows everything.

"That report has very explosive information and he knows that. When the report was filed and what are the procedures of a report? Devendra Fadanvis should not consider himself smart, we have taken out his smartness in the Lok Sabha Elections. Deshmukh is ready for the Narco test. We are not earthworms like them. We are not cowards," he said.

Earlier, addressing a press conference in Nagpur, former home minister Anil Deshmukh had dared Deputy CM Fadnavis to make the Chandiwal Commission report public.

"I am continuously demanding that this report should be made public, but to mislead, Devendra Fadnavis is saying that it had come during our government, my request is that this report should be made public as soon as possible," Deshmukh said.

"When I was the Home Minister of Maharashtra, a bomb was placed in a Scorpio car in front of Mumbai's big industrialist Mukesh Ambani's house. Later, the owner of the Scorpio car was murdered. When we investigated both these incidents, it came to light that Parambir Singh was the mastermind behind both these incidents. Parambir Singh was about to be arrested three years ago and to avoid getting arrested, he surrendered to the Central Government. Then Devendra Fadnavis told him that we would give you full support and would not let you get arrested, but to topple the government, you would have to accuse Anil Deshmukh. Because of this, Parambir Singh accused me," he claimed.

The Chandiwal Commission had conducted an inquiry for eleven months to ascertain the allegations against NCP (SP) leader Deshmukh following Mumbai police commissioner Parambir Singh's allegations that Deshmukh directed police officials to collect Rs 100 crore per month from bar owners.

Sachin Waze, a dismissed Mumbai Assistant Police Inspector, who is also accused in Rs 100 crore extortion case, claimed on August 2 that he had written a letter to, submitting evidence of alleged bribes taken by former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.

Sachin Waze is an accused in the 2021 Antilia bomb scare and the Mansukh Hiren murder case. He is the prime accused in placing an explosive-laden vehicle near Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani's house, Antilia, in Mumbai on February 25, 2021. The NIA arrested Waze in March 2021 in connection with the investigation into the recovery of explosives from a car parked near Mukesh Ambani's house.

Former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh was arrested by the ED in 2021 in an alleged money laundering case and spent several months in jail.

The CBI had registered a corruption case against Deshmukh following allegations that, as home minister, Deshmukh directed police officials to collect Rs 100 crore per month from bar owners. Deshmukh was later arrested in the case and subsequently secured bail. (ANI)
