CM Mohan Yadav announces to open office in Coimbatore to facilitate investments in Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Thursday inaugurated an 'Interactive Session for Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh' in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and announced the opening of an office in Coimbatore to facilitate investments in Madhya Pradesh.

The interactive session is being held as a pre-event of the "Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025". GIS-2025 is proposed to be organised in Bhopal on February 7 and 8 next year. The main objective of the GIS-2025 is to establish Madhya Pradesh as a favourable investment destination and to include it among the leading states of the country by highlighting the capabilities, abundant resources and favourable industrial environment of the state.

CM Mohan Yadav said, "I attended an 'Interactive session for investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh' in Coimbatore. I am satisfied that the hope and expectation with which we came has been fulfilled. We got a chance to talk to entrepreneurs from different sectors. Investors here want to start their work in Madhya Pradesh, so we have also announced to open an office here which will act as a bridge between the Madhya Pradesh government, and Tamil Nadu government."

CM Yadav also invited the industrialists to come to Madhya Pradesh to attend upcoming Regional Industry Conclaves to be held in the state and explore their works in the state.

"I have also given invitations for the Region Industry Conclave which is scheduled to be held at different places in Madhya Pradesh in coming days. I invited them to come to Madhya Pradesh and expand their work in the state," he added.

Besides, addressing the program, the CM said, "To prepare human resources according to the changing needs of the textile industry, we are going to start a state-of-the-art skill development centre in Jabalpur city. We have also signed an MoU with Tirupur Export Association to prepare skilled manpower in the entire state, which will help in skill development and cluster development."

"The Madhya Pradesh Government is providing the most financial benefit package on textile and garment industry in the country. The track record of providing financial benefit packages is also impressive. The big textile companies of the country are attracting towards Madhya Pradesh due to the availability of cotton, cheap land and attractive financial benefit package," he added.

"It is a matter of pride for us that just like Tamil Nadu, PM Mitra Integrated Mega Textile Park has been approved in Madhya Pradesh too," CM further said. (ANI)
