"AI will play important role in lives of today's generation": Shivsena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi

Shivsena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP and leader Priyanka Chaturvedi said on Monday that artificial intelligence (AI) will play a very important role in the lives of today's generation and we need to channelize our abilities to make India a world leader in AI.

On the launch of Core AI, Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi said, "we should note that India has the highest number of youths that are connected to mobile phones and electronic devices, so technology is part of their life. Artificial Intelligence will play a very important role in the lives of today's generation. AI can improve human life and create jobs. Indians have the capacity, mindset, thinking ability, and analytical ability, we need to channel it so that it makes India, a world leader as far as AI is concerned.

Highlighting the benefits of AI for students, she said, "AI can be used in many ways. There are many children who have learning disabilities. If we make AI models in such a way that we can reduce their learning disabilities and treat them like normal students, it can also help to simplify the subjects that are difficult to learn."

Earlier on July 11, the Government of Kerala, in collaboration with IBM, inaugurated India's first International GenAI Conclave.

According to a press release, the two-day event held in Kochi, brought together a distinguished gathering of international and Indian technology experts, industry leaders, policymakers, and academia to explore the transformative potential of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).

The International GenAI Conclave was graced by the presence of the Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, and Dinesh Nirmal, Senior Vice President, Products, IBM Software, among other dignitaries.

The event served as a platform to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in GenAI. Participants deliberated on its role in fostering innovation across industries, government sectors, startups, and educational institutions. (ANI)
