Three women sustained injuries after a house collapsed on Andheri Kurla Road in Mumbai's Kula (W) area on Sunday.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:04 PM today, as reported by the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB). The collapse happened at Radha Nagar Chawl, located near Old Kabrastan, Jarimari.

The structure, comprising four to five rooms, was a ground plus one upper-floor brick-walled building with an A.C./G.I. sheet roof. It completely collapsed, prompting an immediate response from the MFB.

Three women were rescued from the debris and promptly taken to Paramount Hospital in Sakinaka.

According to Dr Tasmiya of Paramount Hospital, the injured include Afrin Shaikh (25 years old), who suffered cuts on her face and neck due to an iron sheet; Rasika Nadar (35 years old), who experienced blunt trauma injuries on the backside of her body; and Exter Nadar (67 years old), who sustained scratches on her body and has been referred for orthopaedic evaluation. All three victims are currently admitted to the hospital, with their conditions reported as stable.

Further details are awaited. (ANI)
