North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) suspended the driver and conductor for making a reel in a moving bus which went viral on social media platforms.

Acting tough against the conductor who had made the reel in the moving bus, the NWKRTC has suspended both from immediate effect. Besides, a departmental inquiry has been ordered against them.

Driver Hanumanthappa and conductor Anita made a reel on Thursday in which the driver is seen holding an umbrella while driving the bus creating an impression that the bus roof was leaking due to heavy rains.

As this video went viral, the netizens slammed the NWKRTC saying the state transport buses were in poor condition making the passengers suffer.

While speaking with ANI, NWKRTC Managing Director Priyanga said, "Taking a serious note of the incident, the NWKRTC inspected the bus and it was found that the roof of the bus was not leaking and the driver and conductor had made the reel for entertainment. The NWKRTC, however, has suspended both the driver and conductor for showcasing the NWKRTC in a poor light and has set up a departmental inquiry against them." (ANI)
