Delhi Police on Monday took Bibhav Kumar, the former personal aide of Delhi Chief Minister and accused in AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal alleged assault case, to the CM's residence.

According to sources, Delhi Police recreated the crime scene at the spot. Delhi Police also reached the drawing room with Bibhav where Swati Maliwal has accused Bibhav of assault.

By this, the Delhi Police wants to know the answers to all the questions from Bibhav as to what happened on the morning of May 13.

After recreating the crime scene, Delhi Police took Bibhav to his house.

As per the sources, the crime scene has been recreated by taking both the accused and the victim to the crime scene. Now the sequence of events told by both of them is being analysed.

Earlier on May 19, Delhi Police seized a CCTV DVR from Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's residence.

As per the sources, Delhi Police will now retrieve the footage of the DVR with the help of technical experts and then an attempt will be made to analyse the sequence of crime.

Earlier, on Saturday, Kejriwal's former PA was arrested in connection with the alleged assault on Maliwal. He was produced before the Tis Hazari Court, which remanded him to police custody for five days.

Maliwal, in her complaint, alleged that Bibhav "slapped" her "at least seven to eight times" while she "continued screaming" and "brutally dragged" her while "kicking" her in her "chest, stomach and pelvis area." After his arrest, Bibhav was produced before Delhi's Tis Hazari Court, which remanded her in police custody for five days.

Bibhav lodged a counter-complaint with the police on Friday, accusing Maliwal of gaining 'unauthorised entry' into the CM's Civil Lines residence and 'verbally abusing' him. (ANI)
