Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Saturday criticised Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for the alleged manhandling of senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal by his personal assistant Bibhav Kumar inside his official residence.

CM Yadav also said that whatever needed to be said should be said by Kejriwal into the matter as it all happened at his residence.

"Whatever needs to be said should be said by Arvind Kejriwal as it all happened at his party and residence. An FIR has been lodged and an arrest has been made into the matter. People are watching all these things and they will not forgive him (Kejriwal)," Yadav told ANI in Mumbai on Saturday.

Notably, AAP MP Maliwal alleged that Kejriwal's personal assistant Bibhav Kumar "slapped" her "at least seven to eight times" while she "continued screaming" and "brutally dragged" her while "kicking" her in her "chest, stomach and pelvis area."

The Delhi Police had filed an FIR following the complaint filed by Swati Maliwal against the aide of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. According to the Delhi Police FIR, Maliwal describes the events of May 13 when she had gone to the Civil Lines residence of Chief Minister Kejriwal.

The accused Bibhav Kumar, was arrested on Friday, Delhi Police confirmed. He is to be produced before Delhi's Tis Hazari Court later on Saturday, the police informed.

CM Yadav further took a dig at Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray on his remark that 'BJP will ban RSS' saying the Sangh needs no certificate from him and the Sangh has its nationalistic face, they are not a political party.

"I want to tell Uddhav Thackeray to fight for his Shiv Sena and to take care of its internal matters. Sangh needs no certificate from him. It has its nationalistic face, they are not a political party. To raise questions on such a pious organisation isn't right," the CM added. (ANI)
