In a no-holds-barred attack on Delhi Chief Minister and INDIA bloc, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Arvind Kejriwal has become a wall of corruption and the opposition alliance will be wiped out in the polls.

"Those (INDIA bloc) who have allied for common greed, their policies, leadership, ideologies, and directions--nothing is the same. They have formed this alliance to stop themselves from going to jail. Kejriwal has become a wall of corruption and he has lost his mental stability inside the jail and keeps saying anything. The people of the country know the truth and they are going to eliminate the INDI alliance from the whole country," Chouhan told ANI.

Chouhan was campaigning for BJP north-east Delhi candidate Manoj Tiwari on Tuesday.

Earlier, addressing a public meeting here, Shivraj said, "Arvind Kejriwal is now 'Kejri-corruption-wal'. He has become a wall of corruption. Wherever his party wins, they commit corruption. One could not have imagined that Kejriwal, a product of the Anna Hazare movement, would be involved in the liquor scam. Half of the AAP leaders are in jail and half are on bail."

Notably, BJP sitting MP from north-east Delhi, Manoj Tiwari, is in the electoral fray against Congress' Kanhaiya Kumar.

Voting for all seven seats in Delhi will be done on May 25.

Earlier on Tuesday, Arvind Kejriwal launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) accusing them of hindering his election campaign by incarcerating him.

During a roadshow in Kurukshetra, Haryana, ahead of the general elections there, CM Arvind Kejriwal said, "I am coming straight from jail to meet you all. I was in jail for 50 days and lost 5 kg of weight. The elections were declared on March 16th, and on March 21st, they arrested me. Their (BJP's) intentions were bad, meaning they didn't want me to campaign for the elections. I want to thank the Supreme Court for giving me the opportunity to campaign, and today I am here among you." (ANI)
