Tamil Nadu Minister for Revenue and Disaster Management, KKSSR Ramachandran, visited a government hospital and met the people injured in the explosion at a fireworks factory near Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district.
The minister asked the doctors about the health conditions of the injured. In the tragic incident, eight people, including five women, were killed and 12 others injured after an explosion took place at a firecracker manufacturing unit near Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district on Thursday. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. (ANI)
