Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday while addressing a public rally in Lakhimpur Kheri highlighted the works done under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said new development projects are underway in new India.

Addressing a gathering in the Dhaurahara Lok Sabha constituency in Mohammadi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Yogi remarked that the new India is gaining global respect and stated, "Moreover, this new India is adept at eradicating terrorism and Naxalism while ensuring border security. Several new development projects are underway, including the construction of highways, railways, metro systems, one district one medical college, IIT, and world-class universities across the country."

CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized that as the Lok Sabha elections of 2024 reach a critical juncture with half of the constituencies having completed voting in three phases, the sentiment resonating across the nation is 'Phir ek bar Modi Sarkar.' The populace is echoing the sentiment, 'Jo Ram ko laye hain, hum unko layenge.'

"For the first time in the country, we are witnessing a government completing a 10-year tenure, yet the public is resolutely electing BJP candidates to form the Modi government for the third time, brimming with enthusiasm and determination," he added.

He continued, "The people of India are expressing their gratitude because the Modi government has tirelessly worked towards the development, welfare, and dignity of the nation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dedicated himself to illuminating the future of both the current and forthcoming generations by sculpting a new India."

During his address, he urged the public to cast their votes in favour of Lok Sabha candidate and MP Rekha Verma.

Yogi Adityanath extended heartfelt wishes on the birth anniversary of national heroes Maharana Pratap and Lord Parshuram, who made immense sacrifices for the cause of Swadeshi and Swadharma.

Criticising the opposition, the CM highlighted that during the Congress and SP governments' tenure, poverty often led to starvation and lack of healthcare, resulting in fatalities. However, at present, 80 crore individuals across the nation receive free ration. Apart from that, over 60 crore people benefit from health insurance coverage of Rs 5,00,000.

Further, the CM extended an invitation to the residents of Lamikhpur to visit Ramlala in Ayodhya after the elections. He expressed that upon visiting New Ayodhya and New Kashi, individuals would feel as if they have entered 'Satyug' and 'Treta Yug.' Additionally, plans are underway to replicate this transformative development model in Baba Gola Gokarnath Dham.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also remarked that previously, farmers resorted to suicide due to financial distress, whereas presently, 12 crore farmers receive the benefits of the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. Moreover, he emphasized the improvement in women's dignity, noting the construction of toilets in 12 crore households.

Underlining the completion of the majestic victory pillar honouring Maharaja Suheldev, CM Yogi remarked, "As a national protector, it is our duty to honor him. Work on his grand memorial is also underway." He further noted the revitalization of Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Kashi and Ayodhya Dham in Ayodhya, highlighting an ongoing process of rejuvenating every mythological site in the state. He added, "Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, this transformation is evident, driving the BJP's momentum towards the ambitious goal of crossing 400 seats in the upcoming elections."

Furthermore, he mentioned that the Bharatiya Janata Party alliance is advancing with the swiftness of a bullet train. He urged the people of Dhaurahra Lok Sabha to contribute to this momentum.

On this occasion, former Union Minister Krishnaraj, State Government Minister Jitin Prasad, MLA Lokendra Pratap Singh, Saurabh Singh Sonu, Shashank Trivedi etc. were present. (ANI)
