Bodies of two unidentified men were found floating in a nullah in the Begumpet area of Telangana's Hyderabad on Wednesday, police said.

According to M. Mallesham, an inspector with Begumpet police station, two bodies of unidentified men were fished out from Old Basti Nullah in Begumpet locality on Wednesday morning.

"Prima facie, it seems that the two men may have drowned in the nala and their bodies washed away. The bodies have been sent to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem examination," he said.

The official further said that it is yet to be ascertained from where the bodies were washed away.

"The two bodies were found floating in the nullah. We don't know the details; the deceased are yet to be identified," he said.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case and launched a probe into the same.

More details are awaited. (ANI)
