A 35-year-old man has been stabbed to death in Delhi's Jafrabad area on Sunday, police said.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Nazir alias Nanhe. The incident occurred near Mangla Hospital, Chauhan Bangar, Jafrabad North East Delhi. The police said that there are numerous criminal cases including that of robbery and attempt to murder registered against the deceased. DCP North East Delhi, Joy Tirkey said, "This incident happened around 6:45 pm. We are ascertaining the exact time of the incident. The deceased is a resident of the street of Akhara in the Zafarabad police station area. There are sharp injuries on the neck, and we have recovered a knife from the spot." "Efforts are underway to arrest the culprits. We have registered a case of murder," he added. Further investigation into the matter is underway. (ANI)
