Bharatiya Janata Party leader Praveen Khandelwal said that his party will register victory on all seven Lok Sabha seats in the national capital.

Khandelwal, who is the BJP candidate from Chandni Chowk constituency said that people are looking towards the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the future too.

"Works done by him (PM Modi) including the construction of Ram Temple has made an impact in the hearts and minds of voters. On the basis of it, I can clearly say BJP is winning all seven seats in Delhi with a big margin," Praveen Khandelwal told ANI.

Praveen Khandelwal will face Congress' JP Agarwal in the Chandni Chowk seat.

Congress which is contesting elections in alliance with Aam Aadmi Party has also fielded Kanhaiya Kumar from the North East Delhi seat and Udit Raj from North West Delhi.

Delhi has seven Lok Sabha seats, all of which are currently held by the BJP.

AAP has fielded candidates on four seats. The party has fielded Kuldeep Kumar from the East Delhi constituency, whereas former Delhi Minister and senior AAP leader Somnath Bharti will contest from the New Delhi Lok Sabha seat. The party has fielded Sahiram Pahalwan from the South Delhi seat, and Mahabal Mishra is set to contest from West Delhi.

BJP has fielded Manoj Tiwari from North East Delhi, Bansuri Swaraj from New Delhi, Kamaljeet Sehrawat from West Delhi, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri from South Delhi, Harsh Malhotra from East Delhi and Yogendra Chandolia from North West Delhi.

Of the seven named candidates, only Manoj Tiwari has managed to get a renomination.

Tiwari is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and has been a Member of Parliament (MP) from the North East Delhi constituency since 2014. In 2014, Tiwari joined the BJP and contested the Lok Sabha elections from the North East Delhi constituency. He won the election by a margin of over 3 lakh votes. He was re-elected in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Delhi will cast its votes on May 25, with the vote count scheduled for June 4. (ANI)
