In view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the Southern Railway has started special train services from Chennai Egmore railway station to Tiruchchirappalli and Tiruchchirappalli to Tambaram
Notably, Train Number 06031 Chennai Egmore-Tiruchchirappalli MEMU unreserved special will leave Chennai Egmore at 10:05 pm on April 18 and reach and reach Tiruchchirappalli at 6:30 am the next day. Train Number 06032 Tiruchchirappalli-Tambaram MEMU unreserved special will leave Tiruchchirappalli at 6:30 pm on April 19 and reach Tambaram at 2:45 am the next day.
