Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah predicted that Raksha Ramaiah would win the Chikkaballapur Lok Sabha seat in an unprecedented manner.

Hailing the Congress government in Karnataka, he said, "Our government is providing Rs 2000 per month to women in the state. If our government comes to power at the centre, One lakh Rupees per year will be deposited into the women's account of each eligible family." He promised that Rs 2,000 per month given by the state government will be added to the account and one lakh 24 thousand rupees will be credited per year for each family. In addition to this, the CM promised that the loans of farmers of the entire country would be waived. Educated unemployed youth will get an unemployment allowance. The minimum support price for farmers' crops will be guaranteed. Launching a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said, "India's economy has deteriorated due to the bad policies of PM Modi.
