The Income Tax (IT) department conducted a raid at the residence of a contractor working with the highways department in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, on Saturday.
According to the agency sources, the raids at the residence of contractor Eswaramoorthi began early in the morning and were ongoing.
