After the inauguration of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Election Office in the Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency and speaking on the party's prospects in the upcoming general election, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi exuded confidence that the people will bless the BJP with a huge number.
"Today in the changed scenario the PM has brought performance into centre stage. So keeping that in mind lot of projects have taken place in the Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency," Joshi told reporters on Saturday. "Also, I am confident that people after looking at the performance of PM Modi at large and even the performance of mine as a Lok Sabha MP and also as a minister, will bless the BJP with a huge number," he added. Determined to secure the maximum number of seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's target of 370-plus for the party and '400 paar' (beyond 400) for the NDA, the BJP has set sights on 'GYAN' to bring home the desired electoral harvest. A term coined by PM Modi himself, 'GYAN' refers to 'Garib' (poor), Yuva (youth), Annadata (farmers), and Nari (women). Ahead of notification of the dates for the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has been going all out to reach out to voters through conferences. At the recently held BJP national convention, all programmes pertaining to the party's poll outreach until March 10 were fleshed out and discussed. (ANI)
