Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said that dozens of generations left with the same wish that Lord Ram should once again reside in his temple, and under the leadership of the Prime Minister, "the temple has been built at the same place where it was decided to get built."

Addressing the BJP's National Convention here today, CM Yogi said that if we look at the speed of development in the entire country in the last 10 years, it creates confidence in all of us.

"Today, Lord Ram has been re-established in his grand temple in Ayodhya after 5 centuries. India has been waiting for this day for centuries. Dozens of generations left with the same wish that Lord Ram should once again reside in his temple in Ayodhya. But this waiting and struggle continued. This moment was such that the majority of society had to wait for centuries for the place of their God. The temple was built at the same place where it was decided to be built. For this also, the National Convention of BJP congratulates and expresses gratitude to PM Modi," he said.

"If we look at the speed of development in the entire country in the last 10 years, it creates confidence in all of us. The speed of start-ups in India today is different. India was considered the 10th largest economy in the world in 2014, today India is the fifth largest economy in the world and at the same time, India has succeeded in doubling the per-capita income," CM Yogi added.

The Uttar Pradesh CM further pointed out that railway lines increased to 55,128 km in 10 years and trains like Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat are available to all of us today as a modern way of public transport in the country.

"Today, seven AIIMS in the country have increased to 22, IIMs from 13 to 20, the number of IITs has increased from 16 to 23 and medical colleges from 387 to 660, this shows the picture of new India which has been possible under the visionary leadership of PM Modi," he said.

CM Yogi also asserted that within the last 10 years, work has been done to benefit 12 crore farmers through PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna.

"Through PM Awas Yojana, four crore poor people got the facility of the house without discrimination. Under PM Ujjwala Yojana, free gas connections have been provided to more than 10 crore poor people, and under the Swachh Bharat Mission, toilets are built in the homes of 12 crore poor people. With this belief, as we all move towards the 2024 elections, once again with the determination of the Modi government, we together with BJP and NDA will achieve the desired target of 400 seats," CM Yogi added.
